I was referred to Rich Phillips after searching for a company that would know how to re-paint a porch, repair old wood, paint, power wash, etc. We were planning a large graduation party in early June for our daughter, and we were in need of having fairly extensive painting and repair work completed on the outside of our home. Due to the terrible weather conditions in the month of May, we were under the gun to find someone reliable to get most of the work completed in a few weeks. Rich, and his small crew, went above and beyond to work with me to prioritize what needed to be completed first, and then mapped out the rest of the work. He was so patient with me and my husband when it came to selecting a new color for our porch, deck and fairly large retaining wall and fence. He must have brought at least 6 different samples for us to choose from - and really was the expert when it came to selecting which color would look good and match the outside of the house well. Rich had to rescreen an entire porch, sand and paint the porch, deck, stairs, retaining wall and fence. He and his team also stained the high ceiling of the porch and they did beautiful work. They also painted all the wood trim on the outside of the house, the gutters and all the doors. He power washed the house prior to painting and power washed the driveway. He replaced old wood on our Shed doors and painted the entire shed to match the deck. He also installed new attic vents, sealed, and painted to match the house trim. He even replaced concrete around our brick chimney that was old and cracked. Rich was a joy to work with, he and his team were so nice and friendly, and he always listened to what I had to say, and seemed to really want to do the best job possible.

The proprietor of the company, Rich Phillips was a professional from start to finish.  We have had our house painted many times, but never close to the quality of detail performed by RichMax Design.  

The most amazing part of the process was the preparation. The sanding, caulking, priming, and rotten wood replacement was extensive and will ensure that our paint job will stand the test of time.
